ROME Carat Card Cases all shipped to Backers!

Hey Everyone,

Just a quick update today. The ROME Carat Card Cases arrived at my house the end of last week. I'm happy to announce that I shipped the last of them to Backers this afternoon! So anyone who ordered a Carat Card Case - it should arrive soon (not so soon for International Backers, of course).

All that's left are the Gilded Pairs! I thought Gamblers had been working on them since the Decks arrived, but I was told last week that there was another Gilding project that was ahead of us. So, it looks like the ROME Gilding will be worked on next week. As soon as they're finished, Gamblers will ship them off to Backers. I'll post another Update when I have been told that they are finished.

Fulfillment of ROME Decks is finished!

Hey Everyone,

Today Gambler's Warehouse sent me the Excel files with a full list of Tracking Numbers, which means all ROME Decks (Gilded Decks still in progress) and Coins are on their way to each of you!! The hard part is completed! They'll ship out the Gilded Decks as soon as they're finished. Hopefully that will be sometime next week.

I've seen that a couple Backers have already received their ROME Decks. Which is awesome! Please let me know what you think of the finished Decks as they arrive. They are my favorites of any of the many Decks I've designed! I couldn't be more proud of the final result.

There's still a small handful of Backers that I need addresses for, or supplied them after I had already sent the Excel files off to Gambler's. I'll ship their Pledge Rewards when I receive the leftover Decks in the next week or two. The Carat Cases should be in Indy sometime next week. I already started getting the boxes ready for those packages.

ROME Fulfillment has begun!!!

Hey Everyone,

Great news!!!! The ROME Decks arrived at Gambler's Warehouse on Wednesday, and they started Fulfillment yesterday. They should have all of the Pledge Rewards finished up by sometime next week!

Please remember, the Gilded Decks will go out a couple weeks later than the rest of the Pledge Items, and the Carat Cases are still in China. The Carat Cases are finished, and should be on the way to Indianapolis soon. I'll personally ship the Carat Cases to Backers, when they arrive at my house.

Have a great weekend!! It's a freakish 61 degree February day here in Indianapolis. We will definitely be enjoying the weekend outdoors!

ROME Decks should arrive at Fulfillment Center any day now

Hey Everyone,

I hope all of you are having a great weekend! I had been waiting to send an Update until I knew the Decks had arrived at Gamblers, but they haven't yet, and I thought I should send one anyway. The ROME Decks had were supposed to deliver to Gamblers this past Wednesday, but so far are a no show. Legends is checking with the forwarder to see where they're at now. They think that the Decks may have had a customs clearance delay. Hopefully they'll arrive early this upcoming week!

Gamblers is ready to start fulfillment shortly after they arrive, so it should be a quick process.

I did receive a couple pairs of ROME Decks from Legends. They turned out beautifully!!! For the Cards - the colors are rich and vibrant, the details are nice and crisp, and the trim registration is perfect on each side. For the Tucks - the colors are deep, the texture and interior map graphics look great, the Gold Foil is crisp with perfect alignment to the texture graphics, and the Embossing is subtle but noticeable (a little more subdued than I had hoped, but most LPCC / EPCC Embossing has that issue). They are by far my favorite Decks I've designed!

I finished taking som Product Shots last week (and even got to use my replica Gladius as a prop!). Some of the finished Product Shots are posted below. I believe everyone will be thrilled with their ROME Decks!

I'll send another Update as soon as Gamblers informs me that the Decks have arrive in Texas.

BackerKits CLOSING TOMORROW

A quick reminder that I'll be locking down the ROME BackerKits tomorrow afternoon. Please make any address or Add-Ons adjustments before then. I'll start prepping the Excel files for Gamblers this weekend.

PRODUCTION UPDATE:

The Decks are still scheduled to arrive at Gamblers around February 8th.

The Coins are all finished. The Gold Foil Stickers for the Gilded Decks are finished, and they look great (photo below)! I'll sign them this weekend, and ship them and the Coins off to Gamblers.

We have one setback. The ROME Carat Card Cases will not be finished until February 10th, and not arrive to the U.S. until a week or two later. I don't want to tie up Fulfillment, so I'll only send Gamblers the info for everything but the Carat Cases.

I'll mail the ROME Carat Card Cases to Backers. It will cost a few hundred extra, but I'd rather do that then have some Backers wait to receive their Decks or Coins as well. Here's a quick outline of the shipping schedule:

Shortly after February 8th - Decks and Coins (from Gamblers)

GILDED DECKS will ship a couple weeks later, after they're finished (from Gamblers)

End of February - ROME Carat Card Case (from me)
